A Message for Senator Cory Booker
Senator Booker,
In late 2010, while you were serving as Mayor of Newark, New Jersey, I met you at an entrepreneur breakfast shortly after founding SpeedRoute.
At the time, my company was headquartered in Newark, and you thanked me for building a business in the city and wished me success.
Fifteen years later, I am writing to you under very different circumstances — not as a startup founder seeking opportunity, but as a New Jersey constituent who has now spent more than four years incarcerated for conduct that the Supreme Court of the United States has held to be lawful.
I have assembled a formal Congressional Oversight Record documenting a federal prosecution and appellate process that continues to operate without subject-matter jurisdiction, in direct contradiction of binding Supreme Court precedent, while the courts refuse to rule. The record details prolonged appellate inaction, undisclosed conflicts of interest, transcript alterations, and the continued enforcement of void court orders across multiple related federal proceedings.
This is not a request for sympathy or intervention in pending litigation. It is a request for oversight.
As a United States Senator and a member of the institution charged with oversight of the federal judiciary and the Department of Justice, you possess the authority to ensure that documented institutional failures are examined when the courts themselves refuse to engage. I am respectfully asking for your assistance in ensuring that this record is reviewed by the appropriate Judiciary Committee staff and that the matters documented receive formal oversight inquiry.
You have built a reputation as a public servant willing to confront corruption, institutional failure, and abuse of power — even when doing so is uncomfortable or politically costly. That commitment to accountability and transparency is why I am bringing this record to your attention.
The complete Congressional Oversight Record — including the cover letter, detailed oversight request, legal case spine, docket citations, transcripts, and procedural timelines — is available at the link below. All documents are provided verbatim, exactly as submitted.
Respectfully,
Joseph Cammarata
New Jersey constituent
